Lantern walk at Plas Power Woods – Fri 8 Nov
Join us for a family-friendly evening of lantern making, woodland walking, storytelling and campfire snacks.
Come along to Plas Power Woods to enjoy a whimsical evening of lantern making amongst the autumn colours.
The event will start with lantern making in the education centre, followed by a dusky walk through the trees with your lanterns in hand. On the walk you will meet a storyteller who will share some fascinating tales, then arrive at our campfire for marshmallows and biscuits.
This is a free event but booking via Eventbrite is essential. Our first session starts at 5pm, followed by 5.30pm, 6pm and 6.30pm starts. Please book tickets according to your preferred start time.
This event is supported by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery.
Please come prepared for the weather on the day, remembering that it can be much cooler in the woods during the evening and potentially muddy underfoot if it has been wet.
Toilets will be open in the Nant Mill car park.
Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

How to book
This is a free event but booking via Eventbrite is essential. Our first session starts at 5pm, followed by 5.30pm, 6pm and 6.30pm starts. Please book tickets according to your preferred start time.
We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to allow for parking and registration. Spaces are limited for safety reasons. If your preferred slot has spaces but not enough for your group please email kirstenmanley@woodlandtrust.org.uk.
This event takes place in the woods when it is getting dark. There is a nearby river, road and campfire, so please bear this in mind when deciding how many children you can safely supervise – we suggest a maximum of three children per adult.
